Founded in 2019, the purpose of Soul Fire Farm Land Stewardship Collective LLC (Soul Fire Coop) is to honor and steward the Property, to provide habitat for human members and guests and function as a cooperative housing corporation as such term is defined in 26 U.S.C.A. § 216(b)(1), to embody and model collective principles, and to promote land sovereignty for peoples impacted by discrimination, colonization, poverty, displacement, and oppression. The Coop shall be operated in accordance with the co-operative principles adopted by the 1995 General Assembly of the International Co-operative Alliance, such principles being: (i) voluntary and open membership without arbitrary discrimination; (ii) democratic governance; (iii) economic participation by members; (iv) autonomy and independence of the Company; (v) providing education and training; (vi) cooperation with other co-operatives; and (vii) concern for community.

Soul Fire Coop currently owns 80 acres of land in Grafton NY and is working to purchase adjacent parcels and welcome new neighbors. Please complete this form to learn more about these opportunities.
